as example the lightweight dalprop5051 give huge topend, is very responsive but because of the high pitch they are amphungry. a high pitched prop will give huge topend but high ampdraw aswell, skinny props are more easy tu turn for a motor, usualy this affect in more response, even if it has a high pitch. Im a mixed pilot, racestyle -) i personaly like high pitched props on medium kv motors, about 2500kv 4s, but for different builds i use different props.Ī big prop surface will give more power but high ampdraw aswell.
I would suggest the hq5043, gemfanhurrican 50466, hq5050 - some props i like. Try all variations is a good idea, freestylepilots often like high kv motors with a low prop pitch. if the motor has the torq tu turn the prop, a high pitched prop is fast while a low pitched prop is slow and more torqy. The pitch affect directly to the accrelation efficiency and to topspeed. Some brands with genius aerodynamic propdesigns i know are: hq, gemfan, dalprop, azure. its like rcrates there isnt the right choice. Prop will work different on a different motor or quad, its also a question about personal feeling and flystyle.
